We are passionate, proactive, and personable. We take a personal interest in our relationships with our clients. This business is more to us than money. It is about the people that trust us to help them. This personal sense of responsibility drives us to do al we can to help our clients.  We have established processes that we believe are helpful to everyone so we do not have account minimums.  

In order to know about the company, you should know a little about the founder Sean DeFrehn and why we became a Registered Investment Advisory firm (RIA). His career began through work at two of the biggest Broker-Dealers in the business. He found many places where client offerings could be improved upon. As a Financial Advisor he did not have the power to make these changes. After several years he became an Independent Investment Advisor to do the best for his clients. During this process, he began DeFrehn Consulting and chose Triad Advisors as the Broker-Dealer.

What a difference it has made. Working with Triad Advisors the investment options for both accredited and unaccredited investors are many times what can be offered through most Broker-Dealers. As an Independent Investment Advisor, DeFrehn Consulting can also offer multiple ways for clients to pay for the advice they receive. Most often a fee-based agreement is made on a percentage of the assets being managed as opposed to the traditional commission or sales charge based on transactions taking place. This helps to align our interest with yours.

The disadvantage is the amount of time it takes to explain who DeFrehn Consulting is and the relationship with Triad Advisors.
